The short version

We don't collect your files. We don't upload them anywhere. We don't store them, log them, analyse them, or share them. The image conversion you perform on this site happens entirely inside your web browser — your files never travel across the internet to us or anyone else.

What we don't collect

Your images. When you drop a PNG file into our converter, the file stays on your device. The conversion happens in JavaScript using your browser's Canvas API. We never receive, see, store, or process your images on any server.
Your account information. There are no accounts. We don't ask for your name, your email, or anything else.
Your file contents. Because conversions are local, the visual content of your images is never transmitted to us under any circumstances.

What we may collect

To keep the website running and improve it over time, we may collect a small amount of standard analytics information — the kind that any website host can see in their logs:

Anonymous usage statistics (page views, broad geographic region, device type)
Browser type and version
The pages you visit on our site and how you got here
Information you voluntarily provide if you contact us via the contact form

We do not link any of this information to a personal identity. We do not sell it. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use a minimal number of cookies for basic functionality (such as remembering your theme preference if applicable). We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. If we run advertising in the future, ads will be clearly labelled and you will be informed before any tracking cookies are set.

Contact form submissions

If you choose to send us a message through the contact form on this website, we store the information you provide (your name, email address, subject, and message) in our database so we can read and respond to it. We retain contact form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to handle your enquiry. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Third-party services

We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address when the fonts load. We do not use any third-party scripts that profile users or track them across the web.

Children's privacy

Our service is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

If you're in a jurisdiction with data protection laws (such as the GDPR in the EU or the CCPA in California), you have the right to know what personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, and object to processing. Because we collect almost no personal data, exercising these rights typically just means asking us to delete a contact form submission.

Changes to this policy

We may occasionally update this privacy policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
